Vintage Gift Wrap

I scored three packs of unopened vintage gift wrap yesterday- for just 90 cents!  This is my favorite- how cute are those bluebirds?  And their parasol?

This is an American Greetings design from 1972.  Two sheets for a total of almost 8 square feet!  Let's have some fun- how much do you think the original price was?  Leave a comment with your guess- I'll be back with the big reveal tonight!

I do wonder how some items can go for 40 years without being opened. They seem almost like hidden treasures. :-)

I would guess that the original wrap was $0.60, but I have no earthly idea.

Cute, though!

I'm going to guess it was .29 cents.

I know, Kristine- I marvel at that too!

Thanks for weighing in with your guesses, you gals. The price on the wrapper was 35 cents. Amazing!

Sorry Celtic knot, but you must all know how useless I am at Jennies guessing games! :o)

Sneaked to the library to pay some bills over the internet, and for my last 7 minutes I've come to say hi to you :o) (You can only have a timed 30 minutes on the library internet ;o(

have missed you dreadfully!
This computer is so slow at printing what you'd type that I'd better sign off now or you won't even get this little message!
Love the birdie wrap by the way :o)

Take care, and have a lovely week jennie.
